The Association was started at Mapeera-Nabulagala Catholic Parish in 2010. The Archbishop of Kampala, Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, approved it and its Constitutions, on the 6th March 2011 at the occasion of the reburial of the remains of the pioneer missionaries at Nabulagala. It follows the laws governing the Catholic Action's Movements (Can. 298-320) and those of the Archdiocese of Kampala. It works under the guidance of the Diocesan Committee for the Beatification of Fr. Lourdel Simeon Mapeera and Bro. Delmas Amans.
The Association has members and branches in a number of parishes especially in Kampala Archdiocese, for example: Ntinda, Bbiina, Bunnamwaya (cf. Kitebi sub-parish) and Ggaba. Plans are underway to open up branches in other parishes and secondary schools in the different parts of Uganda.
