: (1879) 139th Anniversary of the arrival of the first Catholic Missionaries in Uganda. Pilgrimage on this day to Kigungu; the Eucharist starts at 9.30am. The theme of this year’s pilgrimage will be: “Let us irrigate the seed of faith planted by Mapeera”, (Tufukirire ensigo y’okukkiriza Mapeera gye yasiga). The main celebrant will be the Rt. Rev. Mathias Ssekamanya (bishop emeritus of Lugazi Diocese). The Novena will start on the 8th up to the 16th February. (*See programme of Novena)
